EZEKIEL 3. Great prophet = Hebrew “Let God make me strong” son of Buzi, a Chaldean priest.
Taken in 567 B.C. to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar with Joachim and members of the Jewish ruling class, he declared himself a prophet in the 5th year of his exile. 586 Destruction of Jerusalem. Homecoming. The text which contains Ezekiel’s powerful visions was probably compiled by his disciples.
