And the Lord said unto Moses: Count all the firstborn males that are a month old or more. Record their number and their names.You yourself should disregard the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the cattle of the children of Israel. And Moses did this. The number came to 22 275 men.

And the Lord spoke unto Moses and said: Take the Levites, and the cattle, instead of all the firstborn of Israel, so that they should belong to me.
But raise five shekels of silver for each head (one shekel equals to 20 grams according to the sanctuary) as ransom money for the 273 firstborn of the children of Israel, that exceed the number.Give this to Aaron and his sons as ransom money.

So Moses took 1 365 shekels of silver and gave it to Aaron and his sons according to the commandments of God.
