When we had been there several days, a prophet called Agabus arrived from Judaea.
He came up to us, took Paul’s belt and tied up his own feet and hands, and said,
The man to whom this girdle belongs will be tied up like this by the Jews and handed over to the Gentiles. When we heard this, we all urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.
But he would not be persuaded.
What are you doing, you are weeping and breaking my heart. The Lord’s will be done.
And after these days we traveled up to Jerusalem.
And many disciples from Caesarea came with us.
The brothers there received us with joy Mnason of Cyprus gave us lodgings.
