And Absalom said to Ahithophel, “Give your advice!” Ahithophel said, Go in to your father’s concubines, whom he has left to keep the house.”
At that time, if Ahithophel gave advice, it was as if a man inquired of God. All of his counsel was like this.
So they spread a tent for Absalom on the roof, and Absalom went in to the concubines in the sight of all Israel.
