After this, David struck the Philistines and subdued them. He struck the Moabites and they became servants. David also struck Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah. And he was in power again at the river Euphrates. The Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer and he struck 22,000 of their men, and Aram was brought into subjection. And David took Ezer’s shields of gold from Tebah and Berothai and he took much copper to Jerusalem. And Toi, king of Hamath, sent his son Joram with many golden, silver and copper jewels to David to wish him peace and blessings. And David sanctified all of this things from Elom, from the Ammonites, the Philistines and from Amalek and what he had captured. And the Lord helped David wherever he went.
