There was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son Zeror the son Becorath, the son Aphiah. The son of Kish had a son named Saul, a tall and very handsome man. Saul’s father, Kish, had lost some donkeys. Kish said to Saul, “Take one a servants and go look for the donkeys.” They went through the mountains of Ephraim and the land of Shalishah, but didn’t find them. Then they passed through the land of Benjamin, but they didn’t find them. But when they came to Zuph, Saul said to the servant,
”Let us go home, or my father will be anxious about us.” But the servant said to him, “There is a famous man of God in this city. Let us go to him, perhaps he can tell us which way to go.” Then Saul asked, “What should we bring the man?” The servant said, “I have a fourth part of a shekel.” Saul said, “Good.”
