Hallelujah! Praise the name of the Lord,
and sing praises to his name in his house.
Great is God, and he has done what he pleased
in heaven and on earth, and in the seas and in the depths.
He causes the clouds to release lightning and rain,

and sent signs and wonders to the Pharaoh,
and struck down nations, killed king.
He killed Sihon of the Amorites, Og of Bashan,
and all the kingdoms of Canaan ….

The idols of the nations are silver and gold.
They have mouths but do not speak, eyes but do not see,
ears but do not hear, and have no breath in their mouths.
Those who make them will be like them.
House of Israel, house of Aaron, house of Levi, praise the Lord.
May the Lord be praised on Zion, he who is enthroned in Jerusalem.
