Those who trust in the Lord
are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved.
Like the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people, forever!
The scepter of wickedness will not remain over the allotment of the righteous,
so that the righteous will not use their hands to do evil.
Lord, do good to those who are good.
But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways,
chase them away along with the workers of iniquity.
Peace be on Israel.

When the Lord brought back those who returned from captivity in Zion,
we were like those who dream.
Our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with singing:
the Lord has done great things for us;
restore our fortunes again, like the sealed streams.
Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
He, who goes out weeping,
carrying seed for sowing,
will come back in joy,
carrying his sheaves.
