The Lord is my light and my salvation, and the strength of my life.
I ask only one thing: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all of my life.

Do not hide your face from me, oh Lord,
and do not turn your servant away in anger.
Do not abandon me, neither forsake me.
I want to make a sacrifice.
Hope in the Lord and be strong.

To you, Lord, I call. My rock,
do not be deaf to me.
When I lift up my hands to your Most Holy Place,
don’t draw me away with the wicked and the workers of iniquity.
Give them according to their work.
