Why do the nations rage?
Why do the peoples plot a vain thing?
Let us break their bonds apart,
and cast their cords from us.
Ask of me, and I will give you the ends of
the earth for your possession.
You shall break them with
a rod of iron; you shall dash them
like clay vessels.
Kiss the Lord with trembling feet.
I have set my king on Zion.
The Lord sits enthroned in heaven; he will laugh at them.
