But if his offering is an offering of thanks and he wants to bring in cattle, male or female, it must be flawless. He may lay his hand on the offering’s head and slaughter it before the tabernacle. The priests shall sprinkle the blood of the offering all around the altar. He shall make an offering by fire of the thanks offering, so that the fat covering the entrails is on the two kidneys, the fat of the loins and the lobes of the liver; and remove the fat there. Aaron’s sons shall make it go up in smoke on the altar on the wood which is on the fire, as a fire offering for a lovely fragrance unto the Lord.
If he wants to offer small cattle, like a lamb that is flawless, he may lay his hand on the offering’s head and slaughter it before the tabernacle. Its blood will be sprinkled around and Aaron’s sons shall bring a fire offering from the thanks offering, namely the fat from the cervical collar and intestines, kidneys and liver, and the fat can go up in smoke on a wood fire for the Lord

But if his offering is a goat, he shall bring it before the Lord and lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the tabernacle. The sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood around the altar and do the same with the intestines as a fire offering. And the priest shall make it go up in smoke on the wood over the fire on the altar as a food offering made by fire unto the Lord.
It will be an eternal order for your descendants, wherever they may live, that they eat neither fat nor blood.
