If someone weds a woman and then finds out something shameful about her, writes her a letter of divorce which he gives her and sends her from his house he may not marry her again later for she became unclean with another.
If a man has recently married he must not be made to go to war and no duty is to be given to him.
You shall not take the top and bottom grindstones as pledge for you would then take life as a pledge.
If someone kidnaps and sells a person he shall die like a thief
Protect yourself from leprosy, that you do all that the priests have commanded you to do.
If you lend something to a neighbor, you shall not go into his house to take something as a pledge but wait outside that he may bring you a pledge.
If he is poor, do not sleep with the pledge.
You shall not keep pay from the day laborer and should pay him on the same day that the sun does not set for then he will be in need.
Fathers shall not die for their children nor children for their fathers.
Do not deny the law to foreigners, orphans or widows, nor take their cloaks as pledges.
Do not turn around for a sheaf you have forgotten on the field, leave it to the stranger, the orphan or the widow that God may bless your hands.
Do not shake the olive tree twice, do not go over the vines again. Leave this to the stranger. Think, that you were yourselves servants in Egypt.
