Sons and fathers shall confess their misdeeds. And their uncircumcised hearts shall be humble and clear away their punishment. I will commemorate my covenant with Jacob, Isaac and Abraham, and I will commemorate the land. I shall still not reject you or be disgusted at the sight of you, and my convenat shall not yet be done with you. For I am the Lord, your God.And I will commemorate my covenant with the ancestors, whom I brought out of Egypt for all the people to see, and for that I am your God, I, the Lord.

These are the statutes, rights and laws, which the Lord erected between himself and the children of Israel on Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
