And the Egyptians were urgent with the people and drove them out of the land in haste. The people took their raw dough before it was leavened. And the children of Israel did as Moses told them. They let the Egyptians give them silver and golden jewelry and clothing. The Lord had made them submissive. And they considered it as plunder.
They journeyed from Rameses to Succoth. Six hundred thousand men, besides women and children. Many foreign people, and sheep and cattle, and much livestock.
And they baked the raw
dough which they brought out of Egypt
as unleavened bread; because it was not leavened,
because they were driven out of Egypt
and could not wait any longer and had prepared no food.
The time that the children of Israel
had lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
Gold, silver, precious stones
were given to the women of the people
of Israel.
