Elisha said to the woman whose son he made alive, “Go forth with your household, for a seven-year famine is coming.” They left and dwelt in the land of the Philistines. After seven years, she came back and begged the king to give her house and her land back. The king asked Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, to tell him about the great things his master had done,
such as how he restored the dead to life. The woman also confirmed this to the king. Then he sent an officer to the woman to tell her that he would make sure she got her house back, with an income.
